We will write a children coming of age book on these pages, based on our real life experiences in Mt Greenwood, Beverly, Morgan Park, Ada Park, and other south side Chicago neighborhoods. I have no idea how it will develop, or whether it will ever amount to anything publishable, but we will enjoy it. And who knows, maybe we will get rich and famous.

Our neighborhoods were made somewhat famous by the writings of John Powers. His books include "The Last Catholic in America", and "Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up". Our little book will be something like that, perhaps.
